Trees are cool.

This whopper is around 250 feet high and 3000 years old. Imagine that, 3000 years old. When Jesus was still a little toddler this tree was already celebrating its 1000th birthday.

My friend to the right is somewhat younger but still cool.

Giant Sequoias are neither the tallest or the oldest living things. But they are the biggest in terms of volume.

Their history goes back Cretaceous period. That's 125 million years ago. But today these trees face a new threat from traffic pollution.
