Crackers been seen as a metaphor for the whole Christmas. They're totally lame and pathetic. People pay way over the top for these completely unsurprising items. You know that all you're gonna get inside is some completely duff peice of moulded plastic, a party hat and some pathetic joke or riddle. They say kids watch too much TV these days. Well it's hardly surprising if the alternative to TV is a christmas cracker?
